thursday things

1. Today way MUCH better than yesterday. Thank you, Jesus.  


2. I swear I saw Joe Giudice pulling into the roundabout at the entrance to my neighborhood. But he was driving a Camry and I know Teresa wouldn't be having that so it must have just been a look alike.


3. We took a little road trip to Asheville to pick up my older brother who's on break from film school at FSU. He is just chock full of interesting things to talk about. Which is good because the trip was two and a half hours each way. Sadly, the girls did not care about the interesting conversation. But,happily, their aunt was up for the task of entertaining them the whole way back.

This boy is talented. 

So cute and soldier-y. 

No wonder he has interesting things to talk about. 

4. I helped my friend Erin throw a baby shower for my friend Laci and she asked me to stop and get a bag of ice from Sonic. I didn't even know they sold ice. Sonic ice is no joke, by the way. The bag was bigger than both babies.

6. My sister texted me today that I should buy one of these little nursing hats for when I feed the girls. Apparently, she is tired of my lack of modesty. {Although, she says that's not true--these just cracked her up.} I have a nursing cover but people are right when they say you lose a lot of your modesty when you have a baby. Those first few weeks I had one goal: feed those babes. And sometimes there was only a small window of time to do so before one or the other got hysterical and, in a situation like that, who has time to worry about where your nursing cover is? Or sometimes I would need someone to take the sister that was done and that job fell to my mom and my sister. Poor them. But I don't think these hats are the answer. I guess they could be sun hats, too? Maybe I will look into them after all. C-bug is as white as the driven snow.
